Product Description Bob's Red Mill Baking Powder is the go-to leavener for a quick bread, biscuits, cakes and other no-yeast baking recipes. It is gluten free and has no aluminium added and no bitter aftertaste. This aluminium free baking powder eliminates that bitter aftertaste conventional baking powder often leaves in your food. Keep it in the fridge to maintain freshness and enjoy a whole new flavourful way of baking. Ingredients Sodium acid pyrophosphate, sodium bicarbonate, corn starch, monocalcium phosphate. Directions Buttermilk Biscuits: 2/3 cup Buttermilk, 1/3 cup Canola Oil, 2 cups Unbleached White Flour, 1/2 tsp Salt, 3 tsp Baking Powder. Preheat oven to 400ºF. In a small bowl, stir together buttermilk and oil. In a medium bowl, combine flour, salt and baking powder. Gradually add the milk mixture to the flour mixture, combine until well blended. Shape into a ball, place on a floured surface and knead 4 or 5 times. Roll dough out flat, with a cookie cutter, cut out biscuits. Place 1 inch apart on a baking sheet. Bake on rack in center of oven for 12 to 15 minutes or until light brown. Serve with butter and jam.
