Organico French Chestnuts - Boxed 200g

Organic cooked and peeled chestnuts. These chestnuts are cultivated in the Ardeche region of France by some 80 organic co-operatives and growers. The Ardeche is well known for it's chestnut groves that were planted as far back as the 13th century. They are picked from the beginning of September through to November (depending on location and altitude), shelled by hand and then cooked. Use in Christmas stuffing, in soups, in cakes and desserts.
