Pearls of Samarkand Organic Fairtrade Sour Cherries are very fruity and very soulish in taste. The vibrant dark colour develops during the gentle drying process. Sour cherries have less fruit flesh than sweet cherries. Cherries contain anthocyanin's, specifically, the substance cyaniding. Anthocyanin's have an antioxidant effect that can exceed the benefits provided by Vitamin C and Vitamin E by multiple factors, at least in vitro. It contains Vitamin A, B1, B2 and E, as well as considerable amounts of potassium and folic acid. It helps to improve the sight, inhibit inflammation and protect the vessels.
